Applications for Nefes Credit Started
Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun TSO said that Nefes Credit, which has been implemented 7 times since 2017 under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has been on since 1 June.

Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun TSO said that Nefes Credit, which has been implemented 7 times since 2017 under the leadership of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), has been on since 1 June. Salih Zeki Murzioğlu, Chairman of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the 2021 Nefes Credit started to be implemented again as of June 1, 2021, in cooperation with TOBB and KGF, with the participation of 10 banks. Stating that the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey mobilized all the resources of 365 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, Murzioğlu said, “With the credit, businesses will be given a 6-month grace period. Credit installments will be paid in 12 equal parts after the grace period. The annual interest on the credit will be 17.50%. Businesses with a turnover of 10 million TL or less and with a 25% loss in 2020 turnover compared to 2019 will be able to benefit from the credit. Businesses established after 2019 will not be required to lose revenue. SMEs with a turnover not exceeding 1 million TL in 2020 will be able to use credits up to a maximum of 50 thousand TL, and SMEs with a turnover between 1-10 million TL will be able to use a credit up to a maximum of 200 thousand TL. Murzioğlu said, “In order to meet the financing needs, we, as the Chamber, offer all our resources to our members. Our member SMEs will be able to apply to contracted banks with the membership certificate they will receive from our Chamber. If our members wish, they will be able to receive their documents as e-documents without coming to the Chamber. Our members will be able to use credits from the branches of 10 banks all over Turkey.  The 6-month grace period is currently the most important issue for our businesses.

In his message, President Salih Zeki Murzioğlu stated that he once again commemorated Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, one of the greatest leaders in world history, who changed the fate of the nation, and the genius leader of great struggles, with respect, mercy and longing on his 85th death anniversary and said, "Great Leader Atatürk's principles and revolutions will always continue to strengthen and guide the Turkish people. November 10 is the day of remembrance of the Turkish nation's great savior, as well as the day of appreciating what we have and respecting his determination to realize his ideals. We have always adopted as a principle the words of Atatürk, who wrote down in world history how the fate of a nation can change, 'the duty of serving this nation and country will never end'. We, and the generations after us, will work non-stop to move our country even further. The goals he set, his struggle and his trust in his people will always guide us. Atatürk's greatest work is our Republic, of which he was the founder and leader, and whose 100th anniversary we are celebrating, which he developed hand in hand with our nation. We are determined to move forward in the light of Ataturk's ideas for an independent and prosperous future and to proudly pass on this legacy to the next generations. Samsun EU Information Center, which continues its activities under the roof of Samsun CCI, organized a tree planting event within the framework of the afforestation campaign organized by the European Union Delegation to Turkey together with its local partners and aims to plant approximately 170 thousand saplings in 19 cities, including Samsun. The event, which is part of the European Commission's global "Map My Tree" campaign, started on National Afforestation Day, celebrated on 11 November 2023. The event in Samsun was organized by Samsun EU Center, which continues its activities under the umbrella of Samsun Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Samsun CCI). In the event held with the participation of Samsun CCI employees and their families, saplings were planted in the afforestation area in Kadamut.
